Medair selects Unit4’s next-gen ERPx to power humanitarian mission

Unit4’s next-gen ERPx and FP&A solution has been selected by Medair, the global humanitarian organization, to provide accurate, real-time reporting, optimize resources and drive greater mission impact. With Unit4, Medair will be able to better manage programs and funding, to deliver the greatest impact with maximum efficiency in grant management, operating costs and donor reporting.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Medair is a neutral humanitarian organization inspired by Christian faith to save lives and relieve human suffering in the world’s most difficult to reach and devastated places. It was first established in 1989 with the aim of responding to global disasters to restore essential services, help communities return to normal life and prepare for future emergencies.

Medair will benefit from Unit4’s nonprofit implementation model, the ability to set up reports and allocate awards, resources and expenses, a cloud platform enabling operational agility and automation, increased transparency, along with AI-infused planning.

David Verboom, CEO Medair, said: “Unit4’s ‘People First’ approach aligns nicely with ours and how we like to work, by enabling our teams to do more of what matters – helping people in disaster zones and making a positive impact in the world.”

“Implementing Unit4 ERPx and FP&A will enable us to reduce all of our manual processes that had previously taken a great deal of time away from what was important. We are confident we are implementing a system with the flexibility to accommodate our changing requirements, which ensures transparency with our donors and the public and delivers the data to provide more responsive services where needed.”

Jochen Wiessler, regional president for DACH and Eastern Europe at Unit4, added: “Our purpose-built solutions and deep industry knowledge of nonprofit organizations means we can help Medair run and scale more successfully. We know how vital it is for Medair to ensure its’ operations are up-to-date for greater impact, freeing up its people from administrative tasks thanks to faster, efficient processes and reliable automation. We are proud to partner with Medair and support its humanitarian work.”
