Role Objective

Business Partnering and support to SUSE Leaders with emphasis on governance excellence, insightful analytical decision making support and cost controls mechanism.

Role Description

Business Partnering

  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner to SUSE Leaders supporting decision making process – Customer for Life Org, and Sales Engineers Org.

Financial Planning

  • Work with Data Governance, CFL VP, and other Stakeholders to come up with Renewal Targets and Renewal Potential.

  • Responsible for Revenue / Invoice Target setting by Sales Team/ GEOs.

  • Supporting in calculating Quotas for the functional Reps

Expenses Management (Functions Responsible for EMEA Sales, WW Sales, Customer for Life, and Central Sales)

  • Responsible for building annual budgets including headcount, OPEX, CAPEX and exceptional items

  • Complete expenses forecast on a quarterly basis in OneStream

  • Review monthly actuals using OneStream BIB reports & work with General Ledger teams to appropriately allocate the costs

  • Conduct monthly reviews of actuals vs plan vs forecast with Business Partners and prepare Commentary.

Bonus & Commissions Analysis

  • Validating the accuracy of Commission/Bonus/SPIFFs Expenses for actual payouts / accruals

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track actuals vs budgets vs forecasts for Revenue/Invoice for EMEA and prepare commentary

  • Contribute towards the creation of GCO Dashboard

  • Support the Business / Global Controller with Insightful analysis as and when required

Ad-hoc Projects

  • As and when required.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 2 Years Post Qualified Accountant

  • Software and Subscription based company experience is an advantage

  • Strong communicator, to interact effectively with business leaders, participating in related cross discipline meetings, contributing effectively to brain storming, advising etc.

  • Excel to intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Experience of reporting tools (e.g. OneStream)

  • Power BI experience is an advantage.

  • Ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis
