Embridge Consulting, a leading boutique digital transformation consultancy specializing in ERP and business change, has been selected by Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) to implement Unit4 ERP as part of the largest digital transformation project in IRW’s history.
Embridge Consulting will be working with Unit4 to replace IRW’s existing ERP system and improve the efficiency of their day-to-day operations. This transformation is critical in enabling seamless, end-to-end business process automation, standardising data and integration, aligning work functions, increasing data transparency, and improving organisational efficiency and responsiveness.
The global nature of IRW’s work means that they need to operate with multiple currencies and have reporting available at global, national, and regional levels.
Emma O’Brien, CEO, Embridge Consulting, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been chosen to partner with Islamic Relief Worldwide. They are one of the most reputable humanitarian charities around the globe. We look forward to working closely with them and delivering a back-office solution that enables standardised processes and reporting for all their projects and donors, and to drive efficiency that ultimately means more money can be used for front line support. IRW does amazing work to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities and it’s very rewarding to be supporting that.”
Javed Akhtar, Finance and Corporate Services Director at Islamic Relief Worldwide, said: “As one of the world’s leading humanitarian organisations, Islamic Relief is constantly looking to invest in technology that helps us increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our work. Our digital transformation plans will help us ensure that the generous donations we receive will have even greater impact on the lives of vulnerable people. We’re excited about how Embridge and Unit4 can help us modernise our business operations and better serve the needs of communities around the world.”
