West Midlands Fire Service chooses Oracle Cloud

The UK’s second largest fire and rescue service, West Midlands Fire Service, has appointed Oracle partner Namos Solutions to lead a digital transformation project which will see its finance and HR operations move to Oracle Cloud.

Namos Solutions will implement Oracle enterprise resource planning management (ERPM), human capital management (HCM) and payroll for West Midlands Fire Service, making it the first fire service in the UK to move to the Oracle Cloud platform.

Through its digital transformation, West Midlands Fire Service aims to increase the efficiency of its services without compromising the safety of the public, its staff or performance.

Kash Singh, strategic enabler for digital and data at West Midlands Fire Service said: “Investing in our systems enables our staff to provide the best possible service to the communities of the West Midlands, reducing risk and making them safer, stronger and healthier. Our move to Oracle is a key step on our digital transformation journey. It will replace a suite of disparate legacy systems. A better connected and motivated workforce means better outcomes for the communities we serve.”
