A leading construction and engineering company, which delivers turnkey solutions for electric, gas utilities and telecommunications companies across the United States, was in search of a better solution. Its project finance team was responsible for frequently updating thousands of items on hundreds of projects in their Oracle Cloud ERP system, including assigning and changing resources, creating budgets and updating task DFFs and costs. However, the team ran into several challenges, the biggest being that FBDI and ADFbi do not include these required fields.
After initially asking their offshore IT resources to use APIs to make these updates, the company ran into other major issues.
