SAP has appointed Julia White as chief marketing and solutions officer. White joins SAP after a 20 year tenure at Microsoft, where she led product marketing for Microsoft Azure over the past five years. Previously, she was responsible for product marketing for Microsoft Office 365 during the transition to the cloud.

Based in the US, White will strengthen SAP’s go-to-market approach with a focus on product, industry and digital marketing, as well as bridging customer and ecosystem needs with product development. 

“SAP is going through a critical transformation,” said White. “It has a unique opportunity to help redefine how successful businesses run, and the leadership team has made bold and courageous commitments to accelerate their cloud innovation to this end. I am excited to contribute to that journey and thank the supervisory board for their confidence in me.”
