AWS and DXC expand partnership to help journey to the cloud

AWS and DXC Technology

AWS and DXC Technology have announced they are expanding their relationship to help customers accelerate journeys to modern, cloud-centric IT.

The companies will consult with nearly 1,000 of DXC’s largest IT outsourcing customers to accelerate their journeys to the world’s leading cloud.

By moving their workloads to AWS, DXC’s customers will be able to increase innovation, while lowering the cost of running IT infrastructure. Additionally, DXC has selected AWS as its preferred cloud provider to drive innovation and efficiencies across its organization.

For the benefit of their customers, DXC and AWS will accelerate cloud migration and modernization. The two will scale their migration methodologies, solution accelerators and combined expertise in large-scale cloud migrations. After the initial migration, DXC and AWS will continue to jointly engage with these customers to help them on their modernization journeys.

They will also carry out workforce transformation by training and certifying 15,000 DXC professionals over the next five years. Customers will have access to an expanded bench of highly trained and advanced AWS-certified resources to support their cloud migration and modernization objectives.

Lastly, DXC and AWS will implement asset transformation by helping customers to exit aging data center facilities and IT assets in favor of cloud technology provided by AWS. This will accelerate cloud adoption and drive down operating costs for DXC and its customers. DXC also plans to divest some of its existing data centers to interested parties.

Elsewhere in the world of AWS, it has been chosen by Yellow.ai as its preferred cloud provider to power its generative AI–powered voicebot and chatbot solutions.

Yellow.ai aims to use the power of generative AI for goal-driven conversations and to enhance customer support. The dynamic AI agents can engage with customers to manage prospective leads, handle queries, offer personalized discounts, share special offers and more.

In order to expand its global business reach, Yellow.ai has made its solution accessible on the AWS Marketplace. It is also using Amazon Bedrock to enable Yellow.ai to rapidly prototype, iterate and scale generative AI applications.

Rashid Khan, chief product officer and co-founder at Yellow.ai, said: “We’re on a remarkable growth journey, with an impressive 80 percent increase in our annual recurring revenue.

“To support our continued global expansion, we needed world-class infrastructure, and AWS has provided us with the scalability, availability and business support needed to provide the best service to our customers and their users.”
