Boomi strengthens operational excellence with new executive appointments

Two key appointments made by ERP integration and automation leader Boomi are expected to help the company accelerate its global growth and build on its focus on operational excellence.

Valerie Rainey - COO Boomi

Valerie Rainey will join Boomi at its Chief Operating Officer (COO) on December 4, 2024, to align with the company’s strategy to drive efficiency across operations and enhance cross functional collaboration. In this position she will oversee Boomi’s Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, Legal, IT, and Security functions.

Rainey, who has 25 years of experience in SaaS and enterprise technology, was most recently an Operating Partner at K1 Investment Management. Before that, she was President of iCIMC and has also served as Chief Financial Officer for various private equity backed companies and public firms. She is a Board member at Envoy Global and Susan G. Komen and was recognized by NJBIZ and Stevie Awards for her leadership.

Francesca Molinari CPO, BoomiThe appointment of Francesca Molinari as Chief People Officer (CPO) with immediate effect will see her strengthening Boomi’s focus on its people and culture for an inclusive, high-performance workplace.

Commenting on Molinari’s appointment, Lucas said, “As we continue to rapidly innovate and grow, her leadership will be critical in shaping our culture and ensuring we maintain our position as an employer of choice.”

Molinari has held senior HR roles in prominent organizations and worked as an independent strategic HR consultant before her appointment at Boomi. Previously, she served as CPO at Maergo. During her tenure at Wheels Up Molinari was instrumental in leading the company through its SPAC IPO in 2021. She has also led HR Business Partnering for Adobe’s $2.44B Digital Experience division and has held senior HR leadership roles at eBay, GE Capital, and Macy’s.
