Cognizant and ServiceNow have announced a strategic partnership to advance the adoption of AI‑driven automation across industries, in hopes to build a $1bn combined business for the two companies. This marks a significant expansion of Cognizant and ServiceNow’s decade-long partnership.
The two companies will be creating a multi-disciplinary Cognizant ServiceNow Business Group which will integrate the Now Platform and ServiceNow’s industry product solutions with Cognizant’s domain expertise and IP. Its aim is to help its joint clients who are challenged by rising costs, growing tech debt, manual processes and sub‑optimal customer experiences by guiding them on deploying AI.
The partnership will provide clients with enriched operational effectiveness, which will aid in business stability, alongside an enhanced experience due to the Cognizant Neuro suite of AI‑led platforms. Additionally, the partnership intends to leverage the power of Cognizant domain IP and ServiceNow industry solutions to allow faster innovation and time to market.
Some other features of the strategic partnership include elevating customer and employee experiences across the enterprise through generative AI and hyperautomation of ERP systems and delivering next‑generation service operations through cloud observability, AIOps and strategic portfolio management.
Cognizant and ServiceNow also vow to optimize workflows such as onboarding, credentialing and contract and audit management to streamline inter‑enterprise processes and real‑time data exchange.
Lastly, there will be a simplified contact center management to drive personalized engagement and improve retention and ServiceNow’s ESG solution will enable effective pathways to net zero emissions, which will help companies activate ESG strategies programs and initiatives and Cognizant’s deep IoT expertise and knowledge of ESG processes.
