NetSuite-focused consultancies have recently strengthened their operations with strategic acquisitions as CrossCountry Consulting and Cooper Parry (CP) seek to expand ERP capabilities and grow within digital and tech.
Business advisory firm CrossCountry Consulting announced the acquisition of SCS Cloud, a leader in implementing, supporting and enhancing NetSuite for organizations in various industries. The move is expected to expand CrossCountry’s technology and ERP solutions while reaffirming the way it serves its CFO and private equity clients.
SCS Cloud has been a certified NetSuite solution provider for over a decade, spanning 100 professionals in the US, Canada, UK and others. In addition to NetSuite, SCS Cloud provides consulting and implementation services for Salesforce and Smartsheet.
“Bringing on SCS Cloud is a pivotal step in our strategy to expand our existing ERP capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our clients,” said Erik Linn, co-founder and managing partner of CrossCountry Consulting.
“With the addition of the deeply skilled SCS Cloud team, we are uniquely positioned to enhance our clients’ operational efficiencies and provide robust support for their transformational technology initiatives. Importantly, SCS Cloud is also a strong cultural fit with CrossCountry, with shared values and dedication to providing a better experience for our clients and people.”
Derek Hitchman, CEO and founder of SCS Cloud, who will lead CrossCountry’s NetSuite practice, said: “Through the powerful combination of CrossCountry’s broad range of capabilities and our deep NetSuite and cloud-based software expertise, we will be able to offer our clients unparalleled cross-functional solutions to achieve their business objectives and provide new opportunities for our teams.”
With the integration of SCS Cloud, CrossCountry is expanding its US and international footprint with an enhanced presence in Florida and the UK, enabling the firm to better serve US-based clients with a global presence.
Next-generation accountancy firm Cooper Parry also recently completed the acquisition of a fast-growing NetSuite consultancy, MacroFin.
This is the second deal part of Cooper Parry’s rapid expansion within the digital and tech space, following its recent acquisition of a Salesforce consultancy.
Co-located in London, Manchester and the Philippines, MacroFin is a NetSuite-certified ERP consultancy specializing in the implementation of NetSuite products and other support packages. It works across a variety of sectors, including fintech, professional and financial services.
Ade Cheatham, Cooper Parry’s CEO, said: “This MacroFin deal is another massive statement for CP – both for our offering in the digital/tech space, but also for our sustainable next-gen group ambitions.
Ross Latta, MacroFin’s co-founder and CEO, also commented: “The reason that Steve and I launched MacroFin was that, as two chartered accountants with over ten years of client-side experience, we believed that finance and ERP implementations could, and should, be more successful if they were predominantly finance-led. Truly, we have built a business which is NetSuite for accountants, by accountants.”
Cooper Parry’s headcount has now reached 1450 people, including 128 partners, across UK superhubs in London, the Midlands, Manchester and the Thames Valley.
