Ex-Workday boss Chano Fernandez joins Eightfold AI as co-CEO

Former Workday co-CEO, Chano Fernandez has been appointed as co-CEO of Eightfold AI, effective January 2024.

Eightfold AI, an AI-powered talent intelligence company, assists organizations retain top performers, upskill and reskill their workforce, recruit talent efficiently and reach diversity goals.

Alongside Aneel Bhusri, Fernandez led at Workday from 2014-2023, formerly as EVP global field operations, co-president and co-CEO. During his tenure, Workday grew from $450m to $6bn in revenue. In his new role at Eightfold AI, Fernandez aims to “transform” HR, this time not with cloud as per Workday, but with AI.

Speaking of his appointment Fernandez, said: “Every once in a while there is a company that redefines an industry.
