Key Takeaways

Snowflake has named Dayne Turbitt as Senior Vice President for EMEA to lead regional go-to-market operations.

EMEA remains a key growth region for Snowflake as it expands its enterprise data and AI platform strategy.

The appointment follows a series of Snowflake leadership moves focused on enterprise sales and partner execution.

Snowflake has appointed Dayne Turbitt as Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), tasking him with leading the company’s regional go-to-market operations.

Turbitt joins Snowflake from Anaplan, where he served as Managing Director for EMEA since February 2023. Prior to Anaplan, he spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles at EMC and Dell Technologies, building experience across enterprise infrastructure, data, and cloud markets.

Continued Focus on EMEA Growth

In his new role, Turbitt will be responsible for sales execution, partner engagement, and customer growth across the region, as Snowflake positions its platform to support enterprise data and AI initiatives. He will report to Snowflake Chief Revenue Officer Mike Gannon.

Gannon said, “Dayne’s reputation for operational excellence and customer-first thinking will play a pivotal role as we look to capitalize on our strong momentum and sustained customer growth within EMEA,” adding, “Under Dayne’s leadership, I am confident we will further strengthen our foothold within the region by helping our customers transform AI from a niche, expert-only function to a core business competency, as well as forging stronger relationships with our extensive partner ecosystem.”

Snowflake has been focused on scaling its EMEA business, reflecting the region’s importance within its FY26 operating strategy. The company reported EMEA revenue of $553 million for the nine months ending October 31, 2025, and said the region now employs nearly 2,000 people.

The ‘Data Cloud’ platform company has expanded its cloud availability in EMEA and deepened partnerships with major technology providers, including SAP, Google Cloud, Anthropic, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure, over the past year.

Dayne Turbitt, senior VP for Snowflake EMEA, said, “I’m pleased to be joining Snowflake at a crucial moment for its EMEA business,” adding that enterprises across the region are increasingly seeking platforms that support data integration and AI workloads while maintaining governance and security controls.

Advancing Go-to-Market Strategy Through Leadership and Portfolio Moves

Snowflake’s recent senior leadership changes include a series of strategic go-to-market appointments earlier in 2025. In March, Snowflake named Mike Gannon as Chief Revenue Officer to oversee revenue operations and succeeding a retiring predecessor, reflecting a broader effort to scale sales execution.

In July last year, the company appointed Chris Niederman as Senior Vice President of its Alliances & Channels business to lead its global partner and channel ecosystem, underscoring an expanded focus on partner-led growth across Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud platform.

More recently, Snowflake acquired observability platform Observe, a move that extends Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud into application and data observability, expanding the platform’s scope as the company continues to build out its enterprise offerings.

What This Means for ERP Insiders

Data platforms are expanding their role in enterprise AI. Snowflake’s leadership appointments and product expansion point to a broader effort to support enterprise AI initiatives alongside core data workloads, with increased emphasis on governance, scale, and operational reliability.

Leadership continuity reduces risk for enterprise customers. For large organizations, recent leadership appointments provide clearer ownership and accountability across regions and functions, helping reduce execution risk as Snowflake expands its role within enterprise data and AI environments.

Go-to-market alignment matters as platforms scale. Snowflake’s recent leadership structure highlights the importance of coordinated sales, partner, and regional execution as data and AI platforms engage larger, more complex enterprise buying groups.
