Symatrix has acquired UK-based Oracle Peoplesoft HCM and payroll consultancy services provider, Succeed, underlining its commitment to delivering Oracle implementations and providing high-quality HR and Payroll consulting support to its customers.
The acquisition is the latest part of Symatrix’ ongoing expansion and follows a year of growth for the business. It plans to bring all of Succeed’s existing employees into the business, which will lead to a further rise in headcount following a major recruitment drive over the past year.
Like Symatrix, Succeed has been actively engaged in HR and payroll since 2000 and has built up extensive experience and expertise across both areas, which will help strengthen the Symatrix offering.
When ERP Today asked Chris Brooks, managing director of Symatrix, what the acquisition will mean for Symatrix’ customers, he said: “Succeed has a very strong team with a fantastic customer base, and we see significant synergies between our two businesses, both in terms of our expertise in Oracle and our understanding of HR and payroll. The acquisition will strengthen our existing consulting and managed services offering providing us with the full spectrum of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud and PeopleSoft. Succeed customers will continue to receive the exceptional service levels that they are used to and will also benefit from access to the wider Symatrix service suite including fully managed payroll and testing as a service.
“With the entire Succeed team joining the business, Symatrix will have the critical mass and scope to target more customers moving forwards, and the deal now puts us in the strong position of being able to offer a transition service for customers moving from PeopleSoft to cloud.”
