What This Means for ERP Insiders
Tailored solutions are the way forward for cloud ERP users. Cloud users shouldn’t assume a one-size-fits-all approach. Demand customized solutions from your cloud provider that align with your specific business needs and workload requirements. For example, if you’re in a highly regulated industry, ensure your cloud solution meets compliance standards. If you have specific performance requirements, discuss them upfront to ensure the cloud environment can support them. Companies like Aptum base their cloud services on a platform and vendor-agnostic approach and tailor solutions for each customer.
Achieve customer success through collaboration. The appointment of Konzelman who has a strong background in building partnerships and leading teams indicates Aptum’s focus on expertise and partnership to build its customers’ trust. Look for a cloud provider who acts as a true partner, offering not just infrastructure but also expertise and support. This can include managed services, consulting, or even training. For instance, if you lack in-house cloud expertise, partnering with a provider who can help you manage your cloud environment can be crucial.
Consider a hybrid cloud approach if your needs are complex. This allows you to leverage the benefits of different cloud environments (public, private, edge) for different workloads. For example, you might run some applications in a public cloud for scalability and cost-effectiveness, while keeping sensitive data in a private cloud for enhanced security. A provider like Aptum, with expertise across these environments, could help manage this complexity.
