Boomi is shoring up its data management capabilities with the acquisition of data integration provider Rivery. The deal will close by the end of 2024.
The integration and automation leader will strengthen its presence in an increasingly data-driven environment with Rivery. “This acquisition marks an important milestone for Boomi as we expand our platform to address the evolving data management needs of businesses in the age of data-driven decision-making and AI,” said Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO of Boomi.
Rivery’s solutions include capabilities like Change Data Capture (CDC) for real-time data movement. Its data management team will join Boomi once the transaction is finalized, adding to the company’s capabilities. Lucas further said that Rivery’s differentiated low-code Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) capabilities along with CDC technology align perfectly with Boomi’s strategy to deliver “seamless, powerful tools that transform data into a strategic asset.”
He added, “By integrating Rivery’s solutions and welcoming its exceptional team, we are doubling down on our mission to help organizations thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.”

What the acquisition means for ERP users
The acquisition consolidates Boomi’s offering of an integration platform as a service (iPaas), API management, and data integration with:
- Integration and automation, powered by Boomi AI Agents
- Cloud-scale API management with a unique, federated approach to discover, manage, and govern APIs across gateways
- Enhanced data management with seamless synchronization and modern data movement through AI-ready data pipelines
This combination will also allow customers to quickly deploy data pipelines utilizing ELT capabilities. Moreover, Rivery’s modern data integration platform, paired with CDC technology, complements Boomi’s existing capabilities.
Finally, the unified platform merges API management, integration and automation, and data management supported by Boomi’s strong AI foundation.
