Emaar’s finance organization had transformed around two ERP systems:
•Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS)
•Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Applications (Oracle Fusion)
Emaar’s technology transformation phase required maintenance of two ERPs. One was the Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion, where some Business Units were on EBS and Fusion, and a few moved to Fusion. This requires a unique reporting solution that can consolidate balances from multiple ledgers from different ERPs.
Different ledgers and business units used Oracle E-Business Suite for either reporting or day-to-day transactions, while some of the segments had moved to Oracle Fusion. The finance team needed to:
