Epicor has taken Epicor Prism, its portfolio of vertical AI agents, to general availability across Latin America, embedding the tool directly inside Epicor Kinetic and Prophet 21 for manufacturers and distributors.
Prism lets teams build and launch AI agents that operate inside ERP workflows while retaining governance and oversight controls, and Epicor presents the tool as a way to turn ERP data into action instead of adding a separate analytics layer.

The product pairs a set of vertical AI agents with Epicor’s industry-specific ERP data models, letting users query systems through conversational chat instead of navigating separate reporting tools. The system draws on large language models and retrieval-augmented generation techniques, feeding results straight into Epicor’s ERP platforms and connected business applications. The current release includes more than 18 pre-built AI agents addressing decision-critical workflows, spanning tasks from sourcing to reporting.
One component, the Epicor Prism Reasoning Agent, analyzes live ERP data alongside documents, spreadsheets and PDFs to produce contextual insights instead of a fixed report. Epicor Prism Developer for Application Studio, aimed at technical teams, cuts customization build and test time. Both agents run directly inside Kinetic and Prophet 21, so the AI layer works against the same data structures that already govern transactions in those platforms.
