The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is a significant institution in the UK, with over 25,000 students and a workforce of nearly 5,000, highlighting the importance of effective data management.

UCLan partnered with Arribatec to undertake a comprehensive rebuild of its systems to modernize operations and improve efficiency in managing data and payments.

The discussion will feature insights on ERP transformation in higher education and the impact of cyber attacks on implementation plans, featuring experts from UCLan and Arribatec.

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is the 19th largest university in the UK, with over 25,000 students, in addition to an almost 5000-strong workforce. As such, managing everyone’s data, payments and information cannot be an afterthought. So when the almost 200-year-old institution needed to be dragged into the 21st century, the decision was made to bring in Arribatec to rebuild everything from the ground up.

In this Live session, we are joined by Sarah Woolford, deputy director of finance (business process improvement) at UCLan, and Mark Bloomer, managing director of Arribatec, to discuss ERP transformation in higher education – and how a cyber attack can almost knock best laid plans off path.
