IBM and real estate company JLL have announced a sustainability solution powered by IBM Envizi technology and delivered by JLL’s sustainability services team, available globally.
JLL’s Sustainability Program Management offers services like decarbonization strategies to the commercial real estate (CRE) sector. They will now use IBM Envizi ESG Suite software to support these services. This software helps organizations in the CRE sector manage and report their data for better decision-making and public reporting.
According to JLL’s report, “The Green Tipping Point,” corporate lease demand is starting to shift due to ESG requirements. In the next 12 to 24 months, significant changes are expected. By 2025, 30 percent of the demand for low-carbon office space will not be met, marking a critical point for achieving net-zero carbon targets in lease markets.
