IFS has signed a contract with technology provider, Tech Mahindra, to enable a $54million business transformation project for Indian defence manufacturer, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
‘Project Parivartan’ will involve large-scale implementation of technology enhancements to establish new work processes. In collaboration with Tech Mahindra, IFS will roll out a comprehensive ERP solution to 9,500 users working at multiple divisions across India. The solution will replace a number of disparate business systems in HAL with a central, consolidated platform that will allow staff easy access to accurate data.
Mr. R Madhavan, CMD at HAL, said: “In order to meet the challenges of evolving business scenarios and to ensure sustaining competitiveness and customer focus, HAL has initiated ‘Project Parivartan.’ As a leading digital transformation company, Tech Mahindra will implement the new platform from IFS and help HAL meet the dynamic needs of this hyper-digitalised world using ERP. This will further enhance mission-critical processes such as MRO and will facilitate HAL in ushering in a new era of centralised operations based on industry best practices.”
