Infor.com/en-gb" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Infor has launched its new Developer Program and Developer Portal, designed to provide coders with the information and tools needed to build applications on top of Infor cloud ERP systems.
The Infor Developer Portal features baseline concepts and definitions, a centralized library of APIs and a set of specific tutorials to help developers assemble the components to build next-generation solutions.
The portal will also provide resources for two primary Infor application development solutions, Infor Mongoose and Infor OS App Designer. Infor Mongoose is a “rapid application development framework” that provides users with a no-code/low-code/full-code experience.
Mongoose maximizes a developer’s time by using various wizards to reduce the need to “drop into code” and by exploiting Infor’s flex layout, user components and HTML5 designer. Developers are able to create the UX/UI experience through Infor Mongoose.
Meanwhile, part of the Infor OS Portal platform, Infor OS App Designer (OAD) is an application design tool. It is designed to be a server-less, multi-tenant, cloud-based development framework. Users can operate a no-code approach to develop widgets for the OS Portal, based on predefined templates that are ready to be connected to a data service.

Over 50 tutorials are offered in addition to Infor U courses and topical videos on Infor’s YouTube. Links to product documentation, developer forums and best-practice guides are all located within the portal.
