Leading Columbian distribution
Founded more than 60 years ago, Fanalca is a leading automotive distributor in Columbia. Representing Honda Motors since 1978, the business now consists of six strategic units, with cars and motorcycles being one of the primary focuses. Three distribution centers in Cali, Yumbo and Bogotá support its supply chain of national and imported spare parts.
Supporting rapid expansion
As the business experienced significant growth with a 100 percent in increase of revenue, it was necessary to invest in processes and technology in order to continue this success and reach its goal of 300 percent growth by 2025.
The part Fanalca needed
Finding the tools necessary to help achieve their targets, Fanalca chose the Infor warehouse management system (WMS) to help bolster their supply chain operations. The software solution was sold and implemented by Cerca Technology, Infor´s strategic partner in the distribution sector. A new process was also created to generate cyclic tasks and optimize administration and inventory accuracy.

Driving a working solution
Following a successful WMS implementation, Infor announced that Fanalca has increased its productivity by 40 percent and achieved 99 percent inventory reliability, along with cutting lead times by half.
