Latest Nextworld release reveals AI and inventory updates

Nextworld has unveiled 23.2, its second product release of this year, which looks to deliver improvements across all its business suites, including finance, sales, procurement, manufacturing and inventory.

New tools announced for the 23.2 release include inventory and warehouse applications, enhanced citizen developer capabilities and the launch of AI use cases throughout its platform:

Nextworld is now offering over 21 dedicated applications available to provide inventory visibility and control to the warehouse, production lines and field operations. The native mobile component of these applications also hopes to bring enhanced optimization to customers.

It follows Nextworld’s acquisition of Cloud Inventory, the mobile-first inventory solutions provider, which was completed last year to combine Nextworld’s composable architecture technology with Cloud Inventory’s 40 years of experience in supply chain handling and mitigating the limitations of traditional ERP inventory management.

For citizen developers, Nextbot Developer Studio has been released for business analysts looking to use the no-code platform to build and customize applications. Created specifically to be used by citizen developers, the no-code architecture will make it easier for on-the-fly changes to be made and it offers users a way to streamline business processes.

Thirdly, Nextworld has announced that 23.2 will include platform-wide artificial intelligence offerings with a new AI toolkit. Hoping to unlock more AI capabilities for customers, the toolkit enables use cases like anomaly detection, which helps organizations proactively identify and address irregularities in their operations.

Come 2024, Nextworld is set to release more AI capabilities throughout its platform. It’s hoped this upcoming release will work towards reinforcing the experience and efficiency of developing without the need for coding.

Kylee McVaney, CEO of Nextworld, commented: “We are thrilled to introduce these enhancements to our product lineup. Our commitment remains to help our customers excel in the modern business world with our enterprise applications platform.”
