Rootstock Software, a cloud ERP provider focused on product-based companies, announced its acquisition of Praxis Solutions, LLC, a Salesforce consulting and implementation firm with an established partnership with Rootstock. Under this acquisition, Ohad Idan, founder and CEO of Praxis, will join Rootstock as vice president of product. Coupled with expanded professional services capabilities, the move is intended to help Rootstock deliver its Salesforce-native ERP solution to a broader global customer base.
“Praxis has been a trusted partner for many years, and integrating their team’s expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem and Rootstock ERP will strengthen our innovation engine and accelerate our ability to deliver measurable value to customers,” said Rick Berger, CEO of Rootstock, in the November 17 media statement.
Idan is a Salesforce MVP Hall of Famer and winner of the 2025 Dreamforce Hackathon. With more than 20 years of experience across manufacturing, logistics, and enterprise technology, Idan has led numerous digital transformation initiatives using Salesforce and Rootstock solutions, building a reputation for customer partnerships grounded in trust, transparency, and measurable results.
“The integration of Praxis into Rootstock is an exciting milestone in our mission to empower manufacturers and distributors with AI-enabled ERP solutions that drive efficiency, agility, and growth,” said Idan in the same media statement.
The Praxis consulting team will join Rootstock’s Global Professional Services organization, led by Caroline Marty, SVP of global professional services & enablement. Marty noted that “Praxis customers can expect the same high level of service,” now backed by “Rootstock’s expanded resources and global support infrastructure.”
What this Means for ERP Insiders
Companies associated with Rootstock and Praxis will have a more comprehensive solution that enables ERP and Salesforce to create more streamlined results. For CIOs and IT transformation leaders, bringing Praxis’s consulting capabilities directly into Rootstock removes the typical integration challenges between separate partners. With one coordinated team responsible for implementation and product strategy, customers gain faster deployment cycles, clearer governance, and stronger accountability for business outcomes as they scale AI-enabled ERP across the enterprise.
Product innovation becomes more tightly aligned to Salesforce operational needs. Salesforce platform owners and business system managers can expect greater continuity between CRM, ERP, and workflow automation. Praxis’s Salesforce expertise combined with Idan’s new role leading product direction ensures enhancements stay closely attuned to user needs across the Salesforce ecosystem, eliminating duplication and improving process flow from commercial operations into supply chain and finance.
Manufacturers gain a more scalable path to digital transformation without adding complexity. Operations and supply chain leaders benefit from a unified solution designed to support efficiency, agility, and growth while expanding access to global delivery resources. By combining strengths and removing service overlap, Rootstock and Praxis provide a smoother route to modernizing processes and increasing resilience, particularly for product-based companies already invested in Salesforce.
