Sapphire appoints new CTO to support innovation vision

Sapphire Systems has appointed a new chief technology officer, Chris Gabriel, to help support its technology and innovation strategy and expand the consultancy’s value proposition across a number of its core digital operating platforms.

Gabriel brings a wealth of global experience and expertise in digital transformation from both vendors and channel businesses, having joined from Logicalis where he was most recently global CTO.

Commenting on his appointment, Gabriel said: “Sapphire has an impressive track record of solid year on year growth and is one of the most visionary and mature technology partners of its kind. These credentials, combined with an opportunity to deliver the very best digital operating platforms to expedite digital transformation within fast growing and mid-market organisations, represented an incredibly exciting career move for me. I’m delighted to join the team to help drive forward Sapphire’s next growth phase.”

“Chris’s credentials in digital transformation, IoT and core operating platforms represent an exceptional fit for Sapphire right now, and we’re very pleased to bring him on board. As we continue to pursue our goal of achieving substantial growth, both organically and via acquisition over the next few years, Chris will be pivotal in creating and shaping the very best digital platforms to help our customers to thrive in their respective industries, and to help expand our geographical and market reach.” added Sapphire Systems’ CEO, Ian Caswell.
