ServiceNow acquires Enable tech for its Now platform

ServiceNow has acquired the ToolBox OH&S technology assets of Enable Professional Services, a ServiceNow Elite Partner and Fujitsu company based in Australia.

This technology is native to the Now platform and aims to help scale existing health and safety solutions that enhance safety management practices and streamline incident prevention and response processes for both direct and indirect employees.

The tech is expected to help organizations gain the ability to manage, monitor and automate a wide variety of employee health and safety processes such as safety and hazard reporting, work orders and permits, claims and reconciliation, subcontractor management and more.

With Enable’s ToolBox OH&S technology, the acquisition will also enhance solutions across field service management, incident and risk management, customer service and environmental, social and governance (ESG) management.

With experience in the mature Australian health and safety market, Enable promises to bring expertise that will help ServiceNow scale and advance health and safety solutions across a range of industries and global customers.

This move follows the latest acquisitions of Hitch Works, Mapwize and 4Facility technology as part of ServiceNow’s commitment to enhancing employee experiences and powering the future of work.

Bruce Hara, CEO of Enable, said: “We needed a single platform that could handle complex workflows not only across the enterprise, but also across regions and industries. We’re thrilled this technology is being further integrated into ServiceNow so we can together address the growing health and safety needs of employees worldwide.”
