Manufacturing ERP vendor SYSPRO has announced the integration of its ERP system with Adobe Commerce, alongside unveiling a Mobile Warehouse solution that sees the company strengthen its mobility solutions for the industrial sector.
Through a partnership with Room40 Coding, SYSPRO’s new plug-in integrates SYSPRO ERP and Adobe Commerce to provide a deeper level of data exchange between the two platforms to enable stronger e-commerce and warehouse management.
The entire toolset, as unveiled at SYSPRO’s annual Fusion PartnerUP Conference in San Diego, is embedded within Adobe Commerce, removing the usual app switchover need for users. Bi-directional data flow between Adobe Commerce and SYSPRO includes product data, order status, customer status information, inventory levels, and sales data.
What this means for Supply Chain Forecasting
The product development has potential supply chain management strengths for end users. For example, Adobe Commerce can access inventory levels stored within SYSPRO, and SYSPRO can leverage Adobe Commerce sales data to inform demand forecasting. As a result, SYSPRO shares, the integration can help manufacturers avoid the supply chain blight of stockouts.
In an additional note, the Adobe integration can help a manufacturer wanting to expand from B2B ecommerce into B2C, reflecting the hybrid Make-Move-Sell nature of multiple manufacturing enterprises today.
Mobile Warehouse for SYSPRO
SYSPRO also unveiled Mobile Warehouse for SYSPRO, which extends SYSPRO’s warehouse management capability to mobile devices. Within SYSPRO as installed on a handheld scanning device tracking inventory, manufacturers and distributors can receive goods in the warehouse, move into jobs with additive manufacturing, put items back into finished goods and ship them out to customers.
It is not clear if the new solution replaces riteSCAN Mobile Warehouse for SYSPRO, an existing solution developed by riteSCAN for the ERP vendor, but it remains obvious that demand for mobility in the warehouse is being recognized by SYSPRO and other vendors targeting manufacturing industries.
