Workday appoints former Salesforce EVP Emma Chalwin as CMO

Workday has appointed Emma Chalwin, former Salesforce EVP, as chief marketing officer (CMO), effective July 17, 2023.

In her new role, Chalwin will oversee the global marketing organization, with responsibility for building the brand and driving customer demand in markets around the globe as the company enters a new stage of growth.

Chalwin joins Workday having previously worked at Salesforce as executive vice president of field marketing and was responsible for creating go-to-market plans, driving brand awareness and messaging and leading demand generation globally. Prior to her position at Salesforce, Chalwin held global brand and marketing leadership positions at Macrovision, McAfee and Adobe.
