Small and mid-sized professional services providers in architecture, engineering, IT and more struggle with optimizing and managing their limited resources in their quest to grow business. However, on October 16, Acumatica expanded its ERP cloud solution to this area of the services sector with the launch of its Professional Services Edition, which will help streamline and manage resources for small and mid-sized businesses in this sector.

Acumatica has indicated that this edition supports vital processes like project management, resource optimization and financial control. It also offers customer relationship management (CRM), project planning, scheduling, accounting and time and expense management.

Citing a recent survey by S&P Global Market Intelligence, Jeremy Larsen, Vice President of Product Management, Acumatica said that 85% of professional services leaders believed tools and technologies they rely on significantly impact their work’s quality. “These trends and direct feedback for the Acumatica Community were the main drivers for creating the Professional Services Edition, with customers, partners, and developers voting it a must-have solution,” Larsen said.

According to Jason Leveson, Principal at Revive ERP, an Acumatica partner the latest addition to Acumatica’s suite of products was a “smart step” as “Professional services firms face intense competition and require advanced business management technology to enhance operations and drive future growth.”

Acumatica’s Professional Services Edition expands its suite of ERP cloud solutions that include the Construction Edition, Manufacturing Edition, Distribution Edition, Retail Edition and General Business Edition.
