At Boomi World 2024, the company revealed various innovations, including an AI Agent Framework and Boomi DataHub, a trusted data foundation.
To boost progress in the AI economy, Boomi launched its AI Agent framework, offering integration and no-code tools. This can empower users to deploy AI agents by Boomi or partners and create their own for integration and automation needs.
The company also introduced four new agents built into the platform that make use of the new AI Agent Framework, including Boomi Answers for providing prescriptive help, Boomi DataDetective for protecting sensitive data, Boomi DesignGen for autonomously building integrations and Boomi Scribe, an agent for automatically documenting existing and built-by-AI integrations.
Additionally, the AI Agent Framework is open to third parties and supports pluggable AI agents, allowing customers to integrate third-party AI agents into the platform via APIs or Boomi GPT.
The company’s CEO, Steve Lucas, announced a strategic OEM agreement with Vianai Systems, a provider of conversational AI solutions for finance, and demonstrated one of the first third-party AI agents, Boomi FinTalk powered by Vianai. This will allow customers to connect to Boomi FinTalk powered by Vianai via Boomi GPT, leveraging Boomi’s AI agent framework.
The company also unveiled Boomi DataHub, a reliable data cornerstone for operational, analytical and AI tasks. It offers rapid data accessibility, encompassing master data management, integration pipelines and a growing framework for additional data management functions, such as enterprise-level data transfer and data standardization for AI and analytics endeavors.
