In the first three episodes of
ERP Today – Expert Exchange, host Robert Holland explores how leaders are transforming their businesses with
Acumatica Cloud ERP. From strengthening financial resilience at Tester Construction, to building a truly connected enterprise at Tech Electronics, to empowering frontline managers at Carlson Levine Construction, each conversation highlights the shift from rigid, IT-driven systems to flexible, business-led platforms. Together, these stories reveal a common theme: cloud ERP is no longer just a back-office tool, but a catalyst for efficiency, agility, and smarter decision-making across the entire organization.
Robert Holland sits down with Jay Feynman, CFO of Tester Construction, to discuss how moving from QuickBooks to Acumatica’s cloud ERP transformed the company’s operations. Jay shares how the pandemic forced them to rethink outdated, paper-heavy processes and how real-time data, stronger controls, and streamlined reporting gave the business agility to weather disruption, improve efficiency, and support project teams in the field. He explains how better financial insight, faster month-end closes, and reduced overhead have not only strengthened resilience but also positioned Tester to adapt quickly to future challenges. Watch now to hear how Acumatica helped turn disruption into long-term competitive advantage.
Robert Holland talks with
Manish Chandrak, President & CEO of Tech Electronics, about the company’s rapid move to
Acumatica Cloud ERP and how it’s already transforming their operations just four months post–go live. Manish highlights the hidden costs of disconnected systems, from redundant communication and delayed responses to inefficiencies in licensing and reporting, and explains how Acumatica’s connected, real-time data now empowers field technicians, streamlines workflows, and improves customer experience. He also shares why ERP success depends on a business-first mindset and leadership engagement, and looks ahead to how open platforms, IoT, and AI will further shape the future of connected enterprises.
Robert Holland speaks with
Matt Shamp, Executive Director at Carlson Levine Construction, about leading the company’s transition to
Acumatica Cloud ERP in 2021 and the lasting impact since go-live. Matt explains how moving away from rigid, IT-gatekept systems empowered frontline managers to shape their own processes, access real-time data, and create custom reports without costly customizations or delays. He highlights how this flexibility improves client relationships, supports lean operations, and scales with business needs through consumption-based pricing. Matt also reflects on managing generational differences in technology adoption, the importance of setting boundaries around system flexibility, and how technology fluency is becoming as essential for leaders as financial literacy—reshaping executive roles for the future.
