Icon Water to digitize finance function with Unit4 ERP

Icon Water, an Australian critical infrastructure public company, has selected Unit4’s ERP to modernize and digitize its financial functions.

Icon Water provides essential water and wastewater services to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), employing over 400 people in the region. The organization is responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, including dams, water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, and mains.

Moving from an outsourced financial services model, Icon Water will deploy Unit4 ERP for Finance Management and Unit4 Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to deliver a modern, integrated platform. These solutions will provide visibility across business functions, reduce time spent on administrative tasks, optimize resources, and drive greater efficiency.

To deliver Icon Water’s financial management solution, Unit4 has aligned with Kardinya Partners, a local implementation partner with deep expertise in digital transformation for enterprise and public sector customers.

Joy Yau, Icon Water CFO, said: “We’re focused on continuously improving efficiency and data-based decision making in order to drive greater sustainable value for our customers. By partnering with Unit4, we will be able to simplify our processes and unlock opportunities to optimize the use of our resources into the future.”

Andy Brockhoff, regional president APAC at Unit4, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Icon Water to help them develop a deeper understanding of their business and save time on systems and processes. Our purpose-built solutions and deep industry knowledge of Australia’s public sector organizations mean we can help Icon Water run and scale more successfully.”
