Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector have announced the launch of a new Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) to help US federal agencies rapidly detect and respond to cyberattacks.
The Cybersecurity CoE will be powered by the front-line threat intelligence of Mandiant and Accenture Federal Services’ full-spectrum cybersecurity services.
The Cybersecurity CoE is part of an expanded alliance to bring together Madiant’s Threat Intelligence platform and Accenture Federal Services’ cybersecurity services for federal agency clients where they operate, at the edge, in datacenters and in the cloud. Additionally, Accenture Federal Services will also introduce Google Cloud’s Security AI Workbench and GenAI capabilities into its integrated cybersecurity services to help federal agencies detect threats sooner and respond quicker.
Accenture and Google Cloud have partnered together since 2018 to help organizations build a strong digital core by combining Accenture’s services with Google Cloud’s data analytics, AI and cybersecurity technology.

In addition to this, Accenture has acquired ON Service Group, a provider of business process services, specializing in insurance operations.
This acquisition enhances Accenture’s capabilities in insurance operations and expands the range of services available to clients in Germany for insurance processes such as sales and policy administration.
