The introduction of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Salesforce Platform aims to help businesses operating in mainland China meet ever-changing market demands, help comply with the latest data residency regulations and integrate with the local app ecosystem.

Exclusive features for mainland China will be available on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud hosted on Alibaba Cloud. These features will include integrations with Chinese social media and messaging platforms to help companies serve customers on their preferred channels.

Companies already deploying Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud include multinational companies in the education, luxury, life sciences and professional services industries. Among these companies is Education First (EF) which will also be leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s robust infrastructure and data analytics tools to enhance its business operation efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Since their partnership in 2019, both companies have launched Salesforce Social Commerce, designed and built in China to assist multinational brands in expanding their businesses in the region. This milestone underscores their shared commitment to driving customer success.
