Fujitsu formed merger to enhance cloud services

Japanese multinational conglomerate Fujitsu announced that it will form an “absorption-type merger” of its public cloud business to optimize its services and promote transparency.

As part of these efforts, Fujitsu has decided to absorb and merge FJCT, which has been engaged in public cloud business (NIFCLOUD and FJcloud-V). With this step, the company aims to promote the swift implementation of the latest technologies in cloud services and increase transparency, security and reliability.

Microsoft launched new Copilot capabilities to enhance brand operations

Microsoft announced new Copilot and demand planning capabilities for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management to allow supply chain teams to take the next best action based on insights with conversational help while working.

This aims to increase productivity and improve collaboration among employees across supply chain and other cross-functional teams. This capability is now available in public preview and will allow users across different functions to mitigate disruptions and automate workflows.

Accenture to acquire technology consultancy 6point6

Accenture signed an agreement to acquire UK-based technology consultancy 6point6, which specializes in cloud, data and cybersecurity. 

The acquisition is planned to enhance Accenture’s strategy and architecture capabilities, with a particular emphasis on central government, defense, security and financial services as 6point6 is known to deliver large-scale projects for the UK central government to transform digital capabilities.

Google Cloud to transform world of work with GenAI

Google Cloud and Box, a content cloud single platform that helps companies manage content lifecycle and integrate best-of-breed apps, announced they have expanded their partnership to transform work in the enterprise with GenAI.

With Vertex AI, Box will build new GenAI features to help companies more efficiently process and analyze data stored in the Box Content Cloud, which is now available to customers through Google Cloud Marketplace. Additionally, Box will integrate Google Cloud’s advanced large-language models (LLMs) into Box AI which will be powered by Vertex AI.

Salesforce unveiled Trade Promotion Optimization for Consumer Goods Cloud

Salesforce announced that its Trade Promotion Optimization for Consumer Goods Cloud is now generally available, with the new feature using predictive AI and intelligent analytics to help customers enhance their trade promotion planning for profitable growth.

Previous research suggested that 80 percent of consumer goods executives were not satisfied with their current promotion and revenue growth management strategies, one reason for this being that 60 percent of trade promotions go unanalyzed.
