ServiceNow releases 2022 global impact report

ServiceNow has released its second annual global impact report, revealing how the company has accelerated its environmental, social and governance (ESG) progress year-over-year and outlining future plans and environmental and diversity goals.

A purpose-driven company committed to long-term value creation, ServiceNow has made ESG a strategic imperative across the organization. The company is making continued progress in driving sustained impact for stakeholders and the planet with digital experiences that allow workflow across the complex ESG landscape.

ServiceNow is committed to the continuous development of ESG solutions on the ServiceNow platform and to deliver customers a carbon neutral cloud in 2022, which includes all applications on the ServiceNow platform.

The 2022 global impact report also includes highlights from the past year. In 2021, ServiceNow launched an integrated ESG command centre solution to help customers achieve their ESG goals; achieved 100 percent renewable energy; committed to net zero by 2030; tied executive compensation to environmental and diversity goals; continued to achieve systematic pay equity; made progress in representation across three categories: Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, and women in leadership, and fully distributed ServiceNow’s $100m racial equity fund in ten regions across the US.

Additionally, the company has, allocated more than $10m in community cash donations; tripled its employee volunteerism participation; developed an EU-based solution for customers, and achieved 99.995 percent average uptime.

As outlined in the report, ServiceNow expects to: continue to develop ESG solutions on the ServiceNow platform to help address customers’ risks and opportunities; provide ServiceNow customers with a carbon neutral cloud in 2022; develop the roadmap for 2026 near-term SBTi targets; complete a $1m two-year commitment to support decarbonization through non-profit partnerships; deliver plans addressing global diversity; deliver a new enterprise-wide strategic workforce plan, and accelerate ServiceNow’s impact in communities by increasing corporate donations.
